Ayurveda, known as the sister science to yoga, is the world's oldest continually practiced healthcare system and way of life which focuses on an individual’s relationship with their own body, mind, and spirit, and with the natural world.
While yoga is a spiritual practice {or sadhana} of self-realization, Ayurveda is the science of healing and maintaining health in body and mind, as well as a philosophy of living.
In an Ayurvedic workshop, participants learn foundational principles, gain insight into Ayurveda’s holistic model of care, and learn how to achieve healthy restful sleep, a nutritious diet, healthy elimination, movement or exercise, lifestyle choices and energy management all for their specific body-mind type (or dosha.)

An opportunity to learn a bit about Ayurveda, Ayurvedic herbs and western/more local herbs!
In this workshop, I give a breif overview of Ayurveda and the importance of taste and the energetics of herbs. Participants use their senses to see, smell and taste herbs to better understand their medicinal properties. We drink some herbal tea together while we discuss and then each participant creates their own tea blend to bring home. -
Join me and a small group of others for a seasonal, guided, Ayurvedic cleanse.
As the seasons change, it’s more likely to experience imbalances due to changes in weather, diet, lifestyle habits, and other factors. A regular seasonal cleanse helps to improve digestion, boost immunity, increase energy levels, eliminate toxins and promote overall well-being.

Private sessions are designed to meet the individual’s specific needs and goals, whether they be to gain flexibility, relieve stress, alleviate pain, deepen practice or work on learning alignment in certain poses to feel more confident in a group class.
I incorporate Ayurvedic principles, tailoring the practice specifically to the individual, their dosha, and current lifestyle to provide support and promote balance and harmony in mind and body.
Privates are also available for small groups or special events (such as corporate events, birthdays or bachelorette parties).

Yoga classes combine creative sequencing, breath work, mindfulness and alignment of mind, body and soul. Every class is made accessible to all bodies and abilities through modifications, variations and the use of props.
I encourage my students to {stay curious and} explore various poses to find what feels best for them.
